Alabasta products are not to be onsold unless prior arrangements have been made with the Company.  Although our products are organic, it is best to personally test the oils on a small patch of your skin before commencing treatment in the unlikely event you may have an allergy to any of the oils. 

On this site the terms “we”, “us” and “our” ïts”, and “their” refer to Alabasta.

Alabasta ingredients, its properties, product descriptions and applications are a guide only.  It is at your discretion to seek medical advice from your Health Care Practitioner or Skin Specialist prior to commencing the use of Alabasta products and any advice given should not be replaced with the advice on this website.

SECTION 1 - COLLECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION?
Personal information collected such as your name, address, email address and telephone number will be collected as a part of the buying and selling process on our website.  You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind.  If you chose not to do so, this may prevent you from purchasing items from our website.
Marketing -With your consent we may send you newsletters and emails about new products and other updates. 
When you browse the Alabasta website, your computers internet protocol (IP) address will automatically be saved to provide Alabasta with information about your browser and operating system. 
 
BY LAW OR TO PROTECT RIGHTS
If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.  This includes exchanging information with other entities for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

When you provide Alabasta with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, it implies that you consent to Alabasta collecting it and using it for that specific purpose only.

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE
Information that is shared with Alabasta is private and confidential.  Information collected by Alabasta will be used solely by Alabasta to conduct business.
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY 
Alabasta is hosted on Shopify Inc.  They provide the online e-commerce platform that allows Alabasta to sell products to you.  Your data is stored through Shopify data storage, databases and the general Shopify application.  They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
 
PAYMENT
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Stripe stores your credit card data.  It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).  Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.  After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.  All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.  For more insight, you may also want to read Shopify's & Stripe's Terms of Service or Privacy Statement.
 
SECTION 5 - SECURITY
Shopify stores all user information in secure databases protected via a variety of industry-standard access controls.  Secure passwords, SSL encryption, firewalls, and other measures are in place that helps us to protect your data.  However, no company, including Shopify, can fully eliminate security risks associated with the transmission of personal information through online transactions, and you do so at your own risk.
Stripe is responsible for protecting the security of Card Data in its possession and will maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical procedures to protect all the personal information regarding you and your customers that is stored in Stripe’s servers from unauthorised access and accidental loss of modification.  However, Stripe cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use such personal information for improper purposes.
 
SECTION 6 - COOKIES
Like most websites, Squarespace use small bits of data called cookies stored on users’ computers to simulate a continuous connection.  Cookies Shopify ‘remember’ information about your preferences and passwords and allow you to move within Shopify's service without reintroducing yourself.  Members who disable cookies will not be able to use the Service, as they are required to maintain your login to the Shopify service within a browser session.  Disabling cookies does not prevent you from accessing websites published under Shopify's system, though some features of those sites may be degraded.
The cookies can be tied back to personally identifiable information only in the event that you are logged into the Shopify's Service.  If you are logged into the Service, the cookies on your computer will uniquely identify your account within Shopify’s system.
